Serology unauthorized auto billing scam, unauthorized use of credit card

Beware this auto renewing scam.
My 80yr old mother ordered youthology wrinkle cream for $39.99 from an infomercial. According to the first page of the internet and the infomercial, two pens were complimentary and if you didn't like the product, a third pen had to be sent back within 30 days to recieve a refund of $39.99. My mother tried the product but didn't like it and resigned herself to her39.99 payment.

About six weeks later another package arrived in the mail from youthology. My mother immediately called youthology, who refused to allow her to cancel and said she could not return the product. She did return the product (registered) and found that youthology had deducted $39 and $49 from her credit card account. She had to cancel her credit card. Youthology told visa that the product had to be returned within 30 days of the original order so visa won't refund the money.

MY mother never signed up for autodelivery or a subscription to this product. Youthology says they have a recording of the first call where she ordered the initial product and that this policy was explained. It wasn't. And they won't produce the call. Another rep said that it was on the back side of the initial shipping reciept, which of course my mother never read after verifying that the charge was $39.99.

Now A sleazy law firm is harrassing my mother for another payment, and saying that if she does not settle the debt. That she may have to pay legal fees.
The internet and BBB has hundred of people making the same complaints. The AG should go after these guys-they are predatory, sleazy thieves.
