I ordered $318. Worth of clothing online and went back online the next day to show my son what he was getting. On that second visit, I noticed a banner saying 30% off plus free shipping... You had to enter a promo code.
I called their customer service and they said it was there the previous day - but I said that I did not notice it on the busy page with photos and other navigation clues etc., so they put through a 'refund request' and I am supposed to check back in two days to see if they processed the refund.
I said the 30% should have been simply taken off my bill at checkout as it would have been in a store - it should not depend on whether or not a customer happens to notice the deal.
I could simply re-order everything and then send back the first order and get a 100% credit... So why not just tell me I have the refund on the spot? Now I have to go back to them by phone next week and see how or if they dealt with it properly.
This really turned me off this site as I don't trust that I am really going to get the deal they are offering unless I specifically ask for it... And I still don't.
