Igia Direct
I ordered a product costing $39.95 & they charged me $96.58 I returned the product and was only credited $34.20 I paid $56.63 for shipping costs! Ripoff

I ordered the Igia hair remover advertised on TV on 6/26/03. I was told the total cost would be $39.95 which I charged to my credit card. When I received the product the invoice said I owed $96.58! I immediately E-Mailed them (and never got a reply), and called the customer service center and was told there was a definate overcharge and to call the warehouse, which I did and talked to a very rude Rosie who told me there was no overcharge.

I told her I was returning the product immediately, which I did. She told me to write a dispute letter to IGIA DIRECT, INC which I did. There response was S&H not refundable (company policy).

When I received my credit card statement I was charged $96.58 to "Hot-Beauty Products" which I paid and expected $96.58 to be credited to my account. When I received the next statement they only credited me $34.20 from "Igia Beauty Products", a difference of $62.38, twice the price of the product.

Their ads on TV are very tempting, for $19.99 plus S&H you get this free and that free, etc. How many people have they totally ripped off this way? Please tell everyone not to order anything from Igia!
