Failed to honor extended service contract

I purchased a new GE side by side refrigerator/freezer, model GSH22jstss and got the extended service contract. Now the freezer light does not operate after replacing the light bulb and it no longer defrosts. That means that it does not cool.
An ice chest would be better because my refrigerator won't keep milk from spoiling.
This contract was hundreds of dollars. What an easy way to make money. Just write a gurantee with no intent of honoring any claims and pocket the money.
