Michele Salzano Numismatic Rip off. Sold me 1892 Columbia Exposition and some error stamps that were frauds. Charged about 5 times what they were worth

After a phone solicitation in Michele Salzano began to sell me a collection of 1892 stamps as collectible grade stamps with a money back guarantee. Stayed in contact over several other transactions that dealt with error stamps. Michele and the company disappeared about a year or two later. Lately I have been interested in cashing them in. Contacted 3 rare stamp dealers, the original company is not to be found, and so far the stamps are worth about 20% of what I paid for them. Obvious frauds. Why someone would stoop so low when the market was obviously hot and dealers were selling their wares faster than they could bring them in is beyond my comprehension.
