Abusive, Bizarre Call

I received an abusive and strange collection call from the Takhargroup.

They were trying to collect a debt I did not owe.

I went to the corporate website. It's pretty clear from the spelling and wording on the site that the company is not centered in the United States. The company seems to center its activity on agressive collection activities. From reports I gathered from various sources on the web suggests they have very lax ethical standards.

So, I decided to investigate a bit further.

Takhar is a province in northeastern Afghanistan. Exactly what segment of the province is represented by this corporation is not clear. This is an area of considerable criminal drug activity and Islamic radicalism. Is this a front for some criminal or extremist investment? The use of the name of this province is very suspicious.
