American Private Security
Dishonest

I worked for American Private Security for 6 months. Apparently they do not hire anyone for more than 6 months, but they don't bother to tell you when they hire you that you are temporary. I noticed the best guards were disappearing from the roster one by one and for no apparent reason. New people were hired every week. I researched this by checking their logs and none went back more than 6 months.
The company is very rude to the guards too. They give you more hits than is mathematically possible. Therefore, some guards were writing log reports for places they never went to. The vehicles all have major problems due to the fact they buy from junkyards and they don't even have enough to properly patrol anywhere. I witnessed a guard making two stops at a motel and writing down 8 visits and ficticious times.
They expect you to work through your lunch breaks but report a lunch break on your time card and they have been sued for this.
Then I go to do my taxes, and guess what. APS never reported my wages to anyone. How do I do my taxes when they do not report my wages, and yet they stole $1000 from my pay for taxes they NEVER paid! Now I might have to pay full taxes on $8000 which I do not have. I can't get unemployment either because they don't show up anywhere. They are also using some "satellite" companies like Global Private security and one in Los Angeles.

So if you expect good service from a company that cheats it's employees and the govt, forget it. They only want the money and service comes if they have time. Also, they do not hire experienced persons and they fire anyone for any reason to avoid having to pay taxes. I have never worked with such unfriendly people in my life.

I knew my time was up when they had me training my replacement, but did not tell me so.
