Get A Moving Company
The bigest scam company ever known-BEWARE-potential people that are moving. Do not use this company

My husband and I contracted with "Get A Moving Company" in October, to have a move done from Anderson, S. Carolina to Las Vegas, Nevada. The move was to take place October 27; but the driver didn't show up until October 29.

Get A Moving Company is not an official moving company; they are a brokerage firm; that portrays themself as a moving company. What they did to us was unspeakable. They collected a deposit of $396.00 from us and then a driver of whom they had never met and knew nothing about just happened to call in from a truck stop in Florida requesting if anyone needed a move done. Get A Moving Company relinquished all of our information to this driver of which he went to the home in S. Carolina and loaded the truck with all of my belongings; an estimated total of $80,000 worth of everything I owned.

I had flown into S. Carolina (my niece's home where my belongings were stored-a paraplegic with MS in a wheelchair) to make sure everything was set to go. I could not stay and wait for the driver, as I had to return to Nevada to go to work on that following Monday. He basically took advantage of my niece's disability and had her sign documents, but refused to give her a copy after signing and after loading the truck, just took off. We never heard anything more from this driver. Get A Moving Company has refused our repeated phone calls and won't have anything to do with this.

This company (brokerage firm) needs to be brought to justice. How can they keep getting away with ripping people off. I will continue to pursue them and hopefully someone will come forward to help us bring them to justice.
