Contractors Beware-Dishonest Business Practices

I too have been a victim of AMS's Fannie Mae property clean outs. I completed a total of six properties for them including complete clean outs, landscaping/clearing ofsnow, winterization, trash outs, safety repairs Etc... Only to find out that most of what they demand from youisnot what they are willing to compensate you for. Although you have the photo's to prove that the work was complete. They will continually tell you that is was not so they can withhold payment. I wasted countless hours of my time and money investing in supplies and numerous items they require to perform these services onlyto find out they were not going to pay me in full. All other contractors that have done work for themBEWARE of their latest scam! They sent me a1099-misc with the wrong amount entered in box 7 (Nonemployee compensation). There entering the amount they should have paid you. Although I never saw it! I attempted to contact them only to get no answer. I guess I am to send it in to the IRS with a copy of the cancelled check explaining that I did not receive the amount they are stating. Luckily I only wasted my time on six different properties before I came to the conclusion these people do not practice good business ethics.
