Bad service

I took a damaged box back from my customer in fla and gave him his $. I sent in for a claim to the office 20 miles away they said insufficiant packing then sent it back to the guy in fla instead of me. Told me they would pick it up the next day and after several calls picked it up 2 weeks later. They say it's in the lost in found in fla. If they can't find it they said they will not pay the claim and i'm out the money. Wtf kind of company stays in business doing that crap?
