GAF freelancer work scam outsource account suspened ripoff abuse verification Sydney

I am a Manager in my company and we are going to hire peoples online, I've opened a new account and deposited $2000 two weeks ago, after a few days freelancer has suspended my account. I didn't even start to post my first project.

They ask a scanned copy of my passport. I have sent them my passport.

The next day I have received email that my passport is accepted, but they also need a photo of myself holding a piece of paper with the verification word on it! I do not feel comfortable to do so since I haven't commit any crime. There is people out there have no money to get a DC, scanner or even a card reader. These peoples looking for work on freelancer and they rely money in their freelancer account. Therefore I have submitted a Certified copy of passport which is certified by a goverment body in full color. The next day they said my documents was edited and keep give away excuse.

Please think twice before you send them anything, they use any chance to steal your funds, If you are a victim please do the following: 1. Take screenshot of account and email, Contact paypal, moneybookers about your case IMMEDIATELLY!

2. Join their twitter and facebook page, spread the words to their fans until you got a fair reply.

And if you haven't use freelancer yet, but you are going to do it in thenear future, then read my article and think twice whether you need so much headaches at once.
