I will not shop at IKEA anymore. The checkout person would not give me a stupid $1.00 off of wrapping paper, even though it was a full price item misplaced in a sale bin right by the checkout counter that she could see. She rolled her eyes and had to call a manager, who apparently told her that I could refuse to buy it, but no sale price.in the past 2 weeks, I have noticed that other stores have really excellent customer service, such as the checkout person at Trader Joes who gave me my flower bouquet for free because she forgot to ring it up... And the manager at Dick's sporting good who gave me $10 off a product because there was no price directly under it and i commented that I thought it was the lower price of the item next to it. I didn't even ask or demand anything from these merchants... It was offered.
