North American Point of Sale Lottery
Scam!

I received a letter informing me that I had won $150,000 in a 2010 Point of Sale Prize Pool Lottery. There was a check for $3,926.69 enclosed. There was a # to call to confirm my winnings. I called and was told to take the check to my bank and deposit it. After the check cleared, I was to call them back and they would tell me what to do next. The next step would have been to send them $2,750.00 out of the check for taxes. I was sceptical so I had my bank check the check and was told it was fraudulant. I called them back and told them what my bank said and was told the manager would call me back. I thought from the beginning that this was a scam, but really could use the money so I wanted to believe it. It's around Christmas time and I have 3 children, 2 which are disabled. This scam could have really put me under and I want to make sure it happens to noone else!
