Received "settlement" cheque for $16.36. No estimate as promised, returned cheque. Phone and emails go unanswered

I was contacted by Matthew Rogers from Sell Your Diamonds and Gold, after I filled out a request on-line for a kit to send my unwanted gold and diamonds for an estimate. I mailed the package in mid October. On November 10th, I received a cheque for $16.36 CAD. I sent over $500.00 worth of jewellry. I was never contacted with an estimate. I returned the cheque and asked that my items be returned. Their phone number goes to voicemail, but no one returns the call. The emails also go unanswered.
