Mich Horse ABUSE!

I have had first hand experience with Mitch and the Menomin Meadow Morgans. I moved to the farm in Oct with my camping trailer. I was told that I would be offered a place to keep my camper (which I lived in) and food as well as pay in exchange for work. I told Mitch that I also had another job and he needed to be ok with that (which he said was fine).
I was horrified when I got there and saw the conditions that horses were living in. There are three barns, the lower, the upper and the middle barn. The stalls hadn't been cleaned in weeks. There was only myself and one other who had to clean all stalls. We were required to start at 7 am every morning and if you were one second late you got screamed, yelled and cursed at! It took until around 2pm to clean ALL the stalls of over 40 horses (this didn't include the horses that lived outside ALL THE TIME). I was screamed and yelled at one day for over cleaning the stalls. "That isn't dirty put it back." It was dark and smelled of urine and was clearly dirty! When we were done with stalls we were allowed a 5 minute break to have a cup of tea or coffee and it was straight back to work. I went to "training" the horses with his "natural" methods which was nothing like ANY training I had done in over 15 years of experience training horses. His horses would run me over and he would tell me not to correct that because he wanted them "hot." Things got worse and worse there. We were allowed one meal a day which he provided. We worked from 7am until we were done which wasn't until around 7-8pm and that is when we got our only meal. The only break we were allowed was the 5 minute break for tea or coffee. Not only was he verbally horrasing but his sexual comments went on all day long and never stopped! It was horrible. He made you feel like scum.
I could go on and on about the horses who stand all day in poop and urine and mud up to their knees, horses with no shelter, horses with no food or water, horses covered in fecal matter as well as urine, etc. The worst was the poor draft horse that came in from Myre Equine Clinic. He promised to train that horse and wanted to charge the people $100 a day for board and training. He took that horse out TWICE the entire 2 months it was there and the stall was only cleaned those two times he was taken out. He told none of us to go near the horse because he was dangerous. I went in there everyday and talked to him and spent time with him and the horse was scared but definitely NOT dangerous! He was the sweetest thing ever. The middle barn has close to 40 feral cats that live in it which he feeds. Many cats are found dead everyday there. Also, around 60 or so ducks that are also found dead all around the property.
I had the camper that burned to the ground on Mitch's property on December 5. There was an ad writen in the news paper about it. I left after I came back the next day and Mitch told me at least all I lost was animals and items and not anything major. I turned around and walked out. The horses are mistreated, straved, without water, without love. I remember when they were beautiful show horses and treated properly by Co. Now they are dying slowly as he trys to sell them for way more then they are worth and then charging extra if you want their registration papers (which he doesn't have on most of them). If something isn't done soon, there will be more deaths the just the ducks and cats.
