I have boarded my horse here for several months and things looked good from the outside, but then after several months I have found for that not to be the case.

The Board Owner/Marcia drinks heavily while handles the horses at the barn. The horses are smacked around/abused enough to where they are scared if they do not do what is asked of them.

The owner does not call a vet when necessary and administors her own drugs when she feels is necessary.

Several of the horses have lost significant weight due to the "hay" the owner is feeding the horses at the barn. The hay looks like Straw, no green. When cleaning my stall my horse I would find my horse isn't eat the hay. I have came into the barn several days with horses not having water in their buckets, and buckets are never cleaned or dumped. There have been times where 6 horses colliced in the same day, which was due to the owner changing the grain on the horses and not telling the boarders that she was doing it to save money because the bags of grain didn't sell in the store.
