Cottonwood Canyon Health Care facility
Poor exit planning at Local facility leaves elderly in vulnerable position

My mom was moved out of this care facility, under the guise of her no longer qualifying for the services, "she's gotten better", with no planning what so ever. She had no Identifications, no Social Security card, no Birth Certificate. And the place they sent her to; Casa El Cajon, charges more for Room and Board than her Social Security check gives her. They will probably ask her to leave and she'll have no where to go. I am trying to get all of these things taken care of, but it is not coming easy. Something should be done so Cottonwood Canyon won't do this again. It is elder abuse in capital letters.
