Warning do not drive for freightmax

My husband drove for freightmax back in dec of they sent him up to Ohio with another driver to p/u an abandoned truck. The truck was to be my husband's truck. When he got there the truck wouldn't start, and when he called freightmax for instructions he was told to sit tight till they could figure out what to do. Now it's 17 degrees in ohio and all he has is a damn heated blanket to keep him warm. It's friday... By monday they sent a wrecker to come get my husband, and tow him to freightliner in columbus oh where he was told about the problem with the truck. Very exstensive repairs were needed. So he had to wait for another driver to come back thru columbus to pick him up and bring him back to maryland. Because they didn't have the money to fix that truck. Mind you the whole time this is happening my husband is not paid one red cent. He finally did get a truck but it was in worse shape than the original, but he decided to drive it anyway. He was given a heated blanket to keep warm because if you idle that truck they will take the money out your pay... If you get paid. I'll get to that later lol. His 1st week out he was told to go to a truck stop in atlanta, apparently sombody had abandoned a truck there and they wanted my husband to check on the truck to see if it was ok. He did and continued on to Tx. He ran 3750 miles that week. When it was time to be paid (they load the pay on a comdata card, most companies have an option to do that) he was told they couldn't pay him today but that they would pay him next week! What? Wtf? Trucks breaking down, drivers quitting on a daily, people not being paid on time, bald steer tires, using the payroll to fix raggedy equipment, no a/c in any of the trucks. Honey when i tell you this company is operating on a shoestring budget you better believe it. These people are from bangledesh the owner speaks with a heavy accent, so you talk to his son who sounds more like an american. Dont be fooled drivers dont be fooled. As God is my witness ya'll better stay away from this company. The son like to go to web sites like this one and pose as a satified company driver man dont believe the hype. These indians are bad news man. Good luck god speed and drive safe
