The Call Center representative had the nerve or guts to tell me the truth. The state unemployment office will only take the employers word in claims assesment. If a client files a appeal it is a waste of time. That they only go through the motions of ring fair and hold hearings and reviews because the law says they have to. They do not have the time or budget to d their job correctly. Even if you can prove without a shaddow of a doubt the employer lied, the only way to change the initail decision is to go through a long and costly court battle, which since you are unemployed you an't afford.
