CheckCare took the money, goods not delivered by DCS. Corporate office in

Placed cigarette order with DCS in late June. Check cashed on 6/23/10, but no notification that DCS "did not receive the funds" and, therefore, did not mail the goods. Followup, via email, to DCS in late July, tracking the order - only then did I receive a response that DCS did not get the money and that I am supposed to contact Echeckit.com to get my money back or my bank, because PACT precluded DCS shipping the goods. Several phonecalls and emails to Echeckit.com yielded zero response. Bank was zero help, but at least they responded. However, according to my bank, per Government Regulation, an electronic dispute must be filed within 60 days (I did not know that).
I lost so much time, because DCS did not notify me until I sent an email checking on my order. Then, multiple phone calls and emails to echeckit.com wasted more time.By the time I sat down with my bank, 61 days had expired since the check was cashed.
By checking on the internet, I found that CheckCare "merged" with Echeckit, back in 12/09, as per a letter from Cindy Schneider, CheckCare/eCheckit Management. Phone number given in the letter was 800-719-0295 (have not tried that number).
Total Ripoff. I will not stop at reports, emails, or phone messages.
