Failed to meet advertised price guarentee

In March of this year our home burned and we had to replace all of our furniture. We went to the local Sleepys for a bed and hanging on the wall above the desk is a very large poster that states "We will match any competitor's price or the bed is free" or words to that effect.

I did find the same bed we purchased for $2400.00 at another dealer for $1800.00 including free delivery, took the ad to the store and was told that because the ad was not from an authorized Tempurpedic dealer, they would not honor it.

Nowhere on the sign did it say "authorized dealer". It just states any "competitor".

When we went back (within our 90 days) to upgrade the bed, we were told everything was O.K. And our bed would be delivered. The bed was delivered with the wrong base, which they had to replace and a few days later I received a bill for $1404.00 to pay off the old bed. We were tole the old account had "rolled over to the new bed and had to be paid off. We ended up paying $8600.00 for a $6500.00 bed. And let me tell you, it ain't that great.

The company will still not respond about the ad on the store wall and refuses to honor it.
