Lyndsay Wregett Theft of Client List while working for employe

I wanted to explain the situation regarding an ex-employee who stole from my company Picture This Event Photography.

During 2008 I hired a woman Lyndsay Wregget aka Lyndsay Scott to work for me as I was managing being a new mother & trying to run my photography business.

Lyndsay was hired for a short-term contract of 9 months and was due to come back after a 3 month matt leave. She had gained my trust as my right hand manager. She never mentioned an interest in owning her own business, or her failed attempts at her own photography business.

The day after she left, I was notified by my bookkeeper & IT person that the accounting files, client database, marketing materials and business plans had been downloaded and copied by Lyndsay. Upon further investigation I found out that Lyndsay had indeed been soliciting clients for months while working for Picture This. She had started up her own event photo company Envision behind my back. Clients called confused because they had been solicited by a new company run by Lyndsay Wregget or Lyndsay Scott and did not understand how she was involved with so many companies. Ms Wregget even went as far as to use her maiden name (Scott) to try and hide her identity from everyone. She stole photoframes and photo samples from our studio and actually mailed them to prospective clients. Lyndsay even used the picture this website saying it was her company. Lyndsay stole my database and started Envision Event Photography in February. After a failed couple of events, she then started Vivid Event Photography. Both companies have a trail of dissatisfied customers who have since come back to Picture This. She has caused incredible damage to Picture This & the event photography market.
At this time she continues to persue our clients. She also has another company called FOCUS photography.
She is obviously a person with no integrity & I want to warn everyone to stay away from her. She is a scam artist.
