Unpaid Rent, Dishonest, Broke into my house

Lyndsay contacted me in January about renting a room from my husband and I. Throughout the course of her stay rent was late, she did not clean up after herself, she broke two of our glasses (did not replace), either broke or lost a bowl and lied about it, and her dog tore a hole in the screen in our back door (again did not replace). Rent was set at $400 per month and agreed that it would be paid in the amount of $100 a week due on Friday.

Last week, she did not pay the rent. She came home early Saturday morning (3:30 am), and left at some point Saturday. My husband asked her to be home when he got home from work (3:30pm) and she was not there. She did not contact us about the rent, nor did she pay it.

Finally yesterday (Wednesday) I contacted her and told her she needed to come get her stuff. I told her that she needed to make sure that someone was there before she entered the house. My husband and I went out for a couple hours last night, and came home to find that she had broken into our house. When I asked her how she got in, she told me that the back door was open, but my husband found evidence that she came in through a kitchen window (he found the latch broken, and a neighbor saw). Lyndsay is a disrespectful person, and a liar.
