I have to say I would never return to Thailand if it was not for the court battle of my life. I am currently fighting to get my house back, that I purchased 3 years ago (as a pension). My problems started when I was robbed on Christmas Eve coming from Church service at 10pm. I was never out late usually and myself and my husband where 100m from our front security barriers to our estate, when the gunman struck. I thought as we were so close to home and we were screaming for security to help. BUT they just stood there. After they stole my husbands wallet and my jewellery they left, leaving us shaken up. The security guard wouldnt even call the police, saying whats the point they have gone? We asked for the number of the police and he said he didnt have it.
