Ripoff! I paid for sneakers but never received anything

I ordered sneakers for my son the money was deducted from account one day later this was in July. I never received anything and contacted paypal. They were great about getting my money back for me but what can be done about these rip off online companies? I will be reporting another company for the same thing and I haven't gotten my money back from them yet!!!
