Closure of sellers account for vague reasons

I wish I read these rip off reports before I opened an account with this company, it now seems to me like it's the same B.S. Different day for these thieves. Today I received this letter in my mail box:
"As part of our ongoing commitment to improving the customer experience on Amazon.com, we are conducting a review of your seller account. During this review period your funds will be reserved in your Amazon Payments account for up to 30 days, although we will continue accepting orders on your behalf for items you list for sale on Amazon.com." And so forth...
They have stolen $360.00 of my money from sales of my goods. I am one of the lucky ones because most sellers reports I have read, they have impounded thousands with no release date in sight. I believe they froze the account because of a cancellation of an order from a customer who had a APO and I could not ship the customs papers without a phone number, the buyer never got back to me, so I canceled her order. I can only assume because Amazon gave me only a vague reason about having no feedback.
The absolute ludicrous part of this is they still wanted me to ship the 14 items I sold and will ultimately never get paid for. Good luck with that Amazon. I immediately cancelled the remaining orders, told the buyers what happened and told them to get their refund from Amazon considering they have their money, not me. I closed my bank account associated with them and finally requested to close the amazon account for good.
In the real world of retail, this would be illegal but because of a EULA
that no one ever reads and a crack team of lawyers, I'm sure this raping of sellers accounts will go on forever without any legal ramifications to speak of. Also, I've been selling online for eight years now without Amazon, I'm sure I'll get along just fine without them.
So, with that I say, instead of buyer beware... Seller beware!!
