Credit Card Fraud, Debited Unauthorized $29.95, Do NOT Upgrade your service Unless you want to be robbed

Shops, Products, Services

Having used the basic service for locating roommates we then elected to upgrade the service for 3 days @ $5.95, supposedly extending our access to more complete profiles of roommate candidates. But when we went to make changes to our profile, we could not do so, so we temporarily disabled the profile, and wrote ROOMSTER.com asking their 'help desk' for assistance.instead of hearing back from them, we discovered they had debited ANOTHER $29.95 from our credit card. Taking the first $5.95 and not responding is bad enough—Roomster's taking an ADDITONAL $29.95 3 days later IS CREDIT CARD FRAUD. Be Warned, Beware 'UPGRADING' your service—unless you want unauthorized debits from your credit card.
