Miscellaneous

Roomster.net is a Scam
They asked for $5.95 for a trial and never sent a receipt. They are extremely stealthy in capturing the $5.95 transaction without any indication that it is a trial, without any option to renew if desired and fight you with a snapshot that you agreed to an automatic renewal as part of the fine print in Terms and Conditions which do not indicate trial otherwise you could not gain access to mail. I did not get anyone to view my ad - see how fraudulent they are. They never sent me any communication, unlike other sites that brought results, that my ad is expiring. They never sent any receipt for the $29.95 automatic renewal that shocked me when I viewed my credit card statement only a few days after the 3 day trial.
I warned my bank that Roomster.net is known to charge credit cards even after you have cancelled with them. They never responded to my demand to send me their phone number and confirmation that my ad is cancelled. I told my bank to note the date of cancellation since I did not get any confirmation from Roomster.net so that the bank will block Roomster.net when they charge me in the future.
