I received an e mail from this company. It links to mycreditreport.com, and asks for your personal information including your social security #. I'm looking for a job, and apply for positions daily. When I received this email it came under the title "human resource department", and looked very official.

How do I prevent someone from stealing my idenity now that they have my information?
