John Forzetting Bad Work-Bad Attitude-Doesn't honor written policy

John Forzetting dba JGF construction appeared to be professional and knew what he was doing. Wrong. He is a dr jeklyll and mr hyde
John Replaced a roof leaving all of the roofing material filled in my gutters, left roofing nails in the front, back, deck of my house which my young child stepped on and went into a tire. I spent 5 days cleaning up his roofing nails after I asked him to come back and clean up.
John Left a dirty job site, he left the material trash laying all over my house and property and left his food debris and trash all over my house for me to clean up
John put spindles on a back deck that is 20ft from the ground to ensure safety for my children and to comply with FHA guidelines. He did not predrill his holes and every single spindle is splitting and coming apart from the house.
John did electric work for me and one of his lights had a short in it because he did not properly wire, which could have caused a fire.
John also did not want to pull any permits stating he didn't want to eat the cost. He just didn't want the city to call him on his shoddy work.
I told John when he originally came to give me a quote that I wanted french doors installed, he provided me a quote for the material and labor which was accepted by our bank, he did not measure for the french doors, and he could not find them in the size I wanted for the price he quoted so he told me that he would not eat the additional cost, even though it was because he did not measure and quote correctly to begin with and told me I had to have sliding glass doors which I did not want. I did his job for him and found french doors that were cheaper than his material quote and he told me that he would give me the difference in price and pocketed the money.
I told John to paint before I installed the hardwood floors and my new cabinets, he refused and was rude about it and insisted that I install these items before he painted the interior of the house. He got paint all over my new refinished cabinets, my 5,000 hardwood floor, over my light fixtures, over the trim that I had painted, even on the light bulbs, on the ceramic tile just installed. He refused to clean the paint from these items and I had to pay to redo portions of my cabinets.
On everything he did get paint on, he left many unpainted areas, or areas that he had let paint drip and dry on the wall.
He was very rude, continually making comments on how he didn't like the paint color I chose, or the flooring or some of the fixtures.
He hired his 80 year old father in law to work on the roof in 90 degree temps and worked him hard and did not pay him anything.
John gives a 1 year warranty on his labor but does not honor it. I requested John by certified mail to remedy the spindles on the deck so my children wouldn't get hurt, he refused to honor his written warranty, I filed a complaint against him at the BBB and his response was that he told me to wait one year before painting the spindles and that is why they were coming unailed. I guess when I told him that they weren't painted and I had not touched them since he installed he chose not to respond.
This man does poor quality work, is rude and will leave your house a mess and takes advantage of 80 year old family for free labor.
I got a 203k loan and once I chose him I didn't have a choice but have him finish the job, they would not allow me to change contractors. If I refused to have him finish I would not be able to close on my loan and lose the money I put into the purchase.
