J.M. Romich Enterprises - Everdry Waterproofing
Rude, insulting, unprofessional

Shops, Products, Services

This new franchise owner was contacted by our local town public works department because the company had originally completed a basement waterproofing and had routed the drainage improperly. With a service contract, several service calls have been made over a period of 10 years and have not resolved the problem. The basement has mold, mildew, and is unlivable. Water is directed through an external pipe where it floods the yard and sidewalk. Resolution of this problem has prompted the owner questioning our education level, communication skills, and the threat that "he would bury us" if we chose to take this matter to court. A complaint to the Better Business Bureau elicited several irate calls. The town public works supervisor reported that he has tried to contact the owner several times, and has agreed to allow the company to tie into the storm sewers for a $5000 bond for 2 years. The company has refused to do so, and suggests that a third drainage ditch be dug. For the thousands of dollars that were spent on our home to make is safe and livable, we would expect better.
