Buyer Beware!

Buyers Beware!!! Appliance Center Inc. Stores are a ripoff! I purchased a used Black Bosch dishwasher at the Aurora store location on 02/01. They assured me that they test all of their appliances to insure they are in good working order before resale. Not true!!! After I purchsed and installed the black Bosch dishwasher I found not only was the unit's electrical cord Jerry rigged, but the unit itself was inoperable. After returning the unit back to the store (all on my own time) they assured me they would repair the unit. Please be aware of their NO REFUND POLICY BEFORE BUYING!!! After about three months of continually calling and trying to find out about the status of the repair and continually being told that a part is on order (over 3 months) I finally consulted an attorney. Note not once during this whole time has the store ever initiated contact with me regarding the repair status of the unit. A letter demanding full refund from my attorney went unanswered and ignored. Now I'm in the the process of taking the issue to small claims court. This company continaully shows me by their refusing to resolve this matter that they are a crooked business and could care less about honest business practices. I plan on pursuing this all the way and plan on warning any and all who care to Heed. Buyer beware!!! Appliance center inc. Are rippoffs!!!
