Rentals.com
Does not make listing available within their promised service level agreement

Shops, Products, Services

Rentals.com promises to make the listings you post available within 15 minutes. They charge as much as $99 / month for premium listings, yet I just bought a listing today for $99 and there is a 30 day time limit on the listing.

It has been 7 hours since I purchased the listing and a double bill been applied to my credit card. Yet the property I listed under their most premium offering is still not visible in any search on their site whatsoever. Since they offer no technical support outside of normal business hours terminating at 5 PM EST, or 2 PM my time, there is no way to remedy the situation until at least tomorrow.

Thus I will not receive the full 30 days of availability for the listing. If they do not re-imburse the down time then they will have failed to meet the terms of their own agreement and will have stolen the portion of my money for which I paid for a service that I did not receive.

Be advised that their site is fraught with errors and bad links. Also, the site was unavailable for several minutes while I was attempting to upload a picture. All in all this site is extremely unstable, unreliable and apparently untrustworthy.
