Katie D. Grashel Disgusting behavior against animals and children

We placed a deposit on an Amunra Cattery kitten in January. We expected a kitten in early May for our two young children. Beginning March 17, Ms. Grashel failed to respond to any and all of our attempts to communicate with her.
We have recently learned that Ms. Grashel's live-in boyfriend was arrested for child pornography around the time that we lost communication with her. We also were told that 47 very sick cats and kittens were removed from her residence. According to printed articles the conditions of her home / cattery were appauling. To avoid prosecution, she turned the sick cats over to the proper authoroties / agencies.
Even though authorities have restricted her from obtaining, selling, or purchasing cats and kittens, she continues to update her website and advertise upcoming litters. Please do not purchase a kitten from this cattery!
We were fortunate. We only lost our deposit. We were saved by the timing of the above mentioned investigation and did not receive one of her sick kittens. Buyer beware - her website looks amazing - but it is all smoke and mirrors.
