I took my 5 year old shiba inu into doogie doo pet care to have her groomed. When i went to pick up my dog i noticed she was holding up her back left leg, i thought that maybe the groomer had cut her nail too short and she was just being a baby. Once i put her into the car she would not stop crying and she was shaking. As soon as i got home i showed her to my husband who imediately noticed she was shaking and lookied really scared. I called doogie doo right away and asked to speak to lisa carl the owner and groomer, i told her koda was crying and shaking and her eyes were strange looking she said nothing happened to koda, i told her i was going to call my vet and call her back. After seeing the vet my dog had a dislocated hip and the leg was twisted. Koda had to stay over night be knocked out and the vet tried to put the leg back in.in the meantime i went over to doogie doo and asked to speak with the owner, he said he would call her because i was crying and i told him my dog was seriously hurt today while being at doogie doo, After speaking with lisa on the phone he hung up and said to me she'll call you tomorrow. My husband next called doogie doo and told him that the owner better call us back in one hour or we are calling the newspaper, she called back in 5 minutes. After calkming down, she told me to come see her in the morning after i talk to my vet. The next morning i go see koda and the vet said she had a really bad night and that koda would have to go 60 miles away for an emergency procedure. To make a long story a little shorter Lisa now refuses to admit that anything happened to my dog in her salon. My vet says something traumatic hapopened to my dog. Lisa Carl is now under investigation for animal cruelty. If you have any info on this animal abuser please contact me.
