I ordered an item from www.aperfectcostume.com for overnight delivery. The item never came, and when I contacted the company, they stated that they had received the item back, but never bothered to refund me. When I asked for a refund, I received $8.07 back out of $54.29 due to non-refundable shipping fees and a 50% restocking fee. No additional response was received from the company and they have no phone number on their site. BEWARE! When shopping online for costumes as this is the second site I have had similar issues with. Very unfortunate and disappointing as I do almost all of my shopping online and have for years, so this is not a case of 'user error'. I have very few issues, except with these mirror costume sites with no phone number stated and abyssmal customer service and shady policies. A reputable company I recently had a similar issue with - I received the item overnight, but they sent the wrong thing - refunded me in full, including the shipping. This should be a standard policy for reputable businesses.
