Johnny Appleseeds have teamed up to better rip you off

I placed an order with Appleseeds on November 3.
Starting in December and for the following 3 months, an outfit called "My Classic Living" started deducting $14.99 from my account. And yes, I did not get around to double check my credit card statements for well over three months. Upon noticing the first deduction which occurred on December 3, I smelled a rat. The rat became smellier when I realized I had been snookered by "somebody". I went on an Internet quest and it did not take long to figure out what was going on. Appleseeds was indeed looming large in the background of these transactions.
I called Appleseeds. A supervisor had the audacity to tell me I had authorized such a thing. I have been using the Internet for a long time and I would never authorize anybody to withdraw money from my account, without my knowledge or permission, on an ongoing basis. I can only think that I was tricked into this and I most likely will never know how they were able to pull it off. The supervisor basically told me the ball was in my court and did I want the phone number of "My Classic Living". I told him I knew where to find the crooks.
Tomorrow, Monday March 15, I will call "My Classic Living" and see what they have to say for themselves. I will file another report after I hear their story. Let me also say that for the $60.00 or so they stole from me since last December, I received absolutely nothing from them. Not even a cheap catalogue.
So, what did I learn? Always check you card statement in a timely fashion. And squeal like a stuck pig if you are the victim of such outrages.
