Ripoff dishonest fraudulent billing

I was tricked into switching from Pacific Bell to their company, Allegiance Telecom with no hassle. Wow, it was a headache from beginning to end. Finally, one day our business had to move to a different location. I tried to switch the service to the new location, they could not do so because they don't service that area. Therefore, I cancelled the service with them and went back to Pacific Bell (SBC now).

Well, after I paid them the final bill at my new location, about 5 months later I received a collection letter from a place called Nationwide Recovery Systems based at Carrolton, Texas. They claimed that I owed them $1771!!! For what? I asked. They said for all the service that I've been getting. I told them that i haven't been getting any service from them. I have with SBC now.

Anyway, back and forth with so much frustration I hang up the phone with them. They keep insist that I negotiate with them to settle. But til now, I still don't know what to settle with them, because I don't owe them nor do I have been receiving any types of service from them.

So, if anyone from Allegiance Telecom tries to get your business, please think twice before you do so. It's going to sound so wonderful and tempting, but PLEASE DO NOT subscribe them. You'll be sooooo sorry. Please pass this report on to everyone, and please if anyone can advise me what to do or how to deal with them, I am so greatly appreciate that. Take care.
