Pornography photos and scammers unscreened

I joined this website, as I have used it in the past, about five years ago. Except this time, I have to move to the city of NYC or Chicago for work. My very first encounter was a scam. I reported it. Several of my next encounters were scams, who no one monitored. My last and final search for a roommate brought to see the profile of a man in Chicago seeking a roommate, but decided instead of taking about his place, he described him self and showed naked photos, including his genitalia. I was very offended, not mention that my time and money was wasted. I am very serious about my relocaton, and you think these people would get caught sooner. This man had his pictures up for two days. Please do something to make this a safer website for those who really need extra income by renting a share space, and for those who need a share space.
