Ripoff, harrassment, non delivery of packages

My husband opened this account while he was still working. We have been living in a motel since 1994. They didn't ship packages on time. My husband disputed a claim with them for 167.00 for xmas presents they said the left on a porch for our grandchildren. Then my husband became ill. He is on a liver transplant list. He has explained to all who call from Fingerhut, which is on a daily basis that we can not pay the account. He is extremely ill and should not be called on a daily basis.

They just called today and said they were going to take his car. I'm contacting the better business bureau. My husband collects 800.00 a month from Social Security. I work and with what we make we barely make ends meet. We explaind this to FingerHut along time ago. One customer service employee told my husband one month not to pay the bill because they didn't know If it would be credited or not because Fingerhut was going under. So he didn't pay. And then several months down the line they started with the phone calls and letters. Is there any one out there who can help us.
