Slamed by AT&T TWICE Filed report, called and they still won't take of credit report

I was slammed by AT&T not once but twice! I recieved my phone bill and had over $300.00 in long distance charges. I noticed that AT&T was down as my long distance provider. I never gave permission for AT&T to be my provider. So still in shock I looked at the calls and realized I was being charged over $6.00 a minute!!! I called AT&T and guess what? They were anything but helpful. She insisted that I must have requested them. I asked her, "who in their right mind would change service to one that charges $6.00 a minute?" I requested that the tape of me stating yes, be played and she told me she would call me back... Well it's been 2 years and I'm still waiting...

I then called Verizon, whom was horrified and charged all charges back to AT&T and told me to file a claim with the FCC. So I called the FCC and filed a claim. Well, I thought that would be the end... But of course not... They then did it again! So after I repeated the same steps I thought it was all done with. But when I went for my mortage it was on my credit report!!! Now mind you I have never recieved any other bill for these calls, never got to listen to any tapes of me saying yes. So I wrote them with all my bills, proof of FCC complaints etc... And they still haven't taken it off my credit report!!!

In fact one customer service rep from AT&T told me it happens all the time because they hire an outside contractor to bug people at their homes to switch and will slamm you just to get the commission.
LISTEN TO ME!!! IF YOU DON"T WANT YOUR LONG DISTANCE PROVIDER TO CHANGE request a freeze to be put on your line... I wish I had known about it before. It's easy and free! Just call up your local company and ask them for one.
