Offers Fraudulent Credit Card Offers ripoff, scam, false and misleading information, horrible customer service, representatives dishonest will lie for their commission

Like most of the other pepole in the world I am working on re-establishing my credit history. Back in May I received a phone call from a representative by the name of Kathy who wanted to offer me a $1000.00 credit card offer.

I asked her what is the catch? What do I have to pay? She said that there is a one-time $249.00 fee for the card. I asked her if it was a real visa or mastercard or was it the Gold card or the American Card that only offers you credit towards their merchandise, she said no, no It will be either a visa or mastercard, then proceded to ask which did I prefer... I told her a Mastercard.

She said great we can debit this out of your checking or savings account the month of your choice and the day it is debited you will receive your card within 15-20 business days plus we are also sending you as a bonus the credit repair kit to help you to improve your credit; So... I decided to try it.

During this time I was also in the process of moving so I was having all of my mail forwarded during the months of July and August.

So I waited first till the end of june and called and asked"WHERE IS MY CARD" This representative went on to tell me, that I will receive my package within a week.

When the week was up I received The credit repair kit that received crap on free satellites, cell phones, and an application for a stored mastercard. It also contained a book that had some credit repair forms, hotel discount crap and a CERTIFICATE FOR $1000.00 FOR THEIR ONLINE SHOPPING CATELOGe, and a cd-rom with the same stuff on it.

I was so P.O. So I called them back only to wait on hold for 30 minutes before someone picked up, this representative by the name of michael says that they dont send out the credit card it comes from the bank, however before I receive that I will get an approval letter once that comes Ill have to sign it then the card will come a week later.

Needless to say I have still not received anything... They are giving me the run around. I told them that I wanted a refund they claimed they could not give me one but the representative that I first spoke with was written up several times for incompetence and that they would get everything situated with my account and the card is in the mail.

Yet... Today I have not received anything. And everytime I call the wait is at the least 15 minutes. This is ridculous. Today I am taking your advice, I got the names of the supervisors, managers addresses and phone numbers and someone is going to pay or I will take them to small claims court.

Thank you for your helpful advice on how to handle them I will follow through and let everyone know how it turns out.
