Ripoff

I was very tired one Friday morning and I recieved a call from this company telling me that I'd been entered in a Sweepstakes for 50,000 dollars. The catch was that I had to purchase 5 magazines for $49.95 per month for one year. I thought this was ok and I had just started a new job, so I will have enough money for that. I told them ok and they informed me they would call back in a few days to finalize the deal.

Well, three days passed and come to find out I needed to pay other bills and drop my luxury spending. So when the company called I told them that I needed to cancel the order and I was very sorry. The gentleman on the phone was very courteous and said that would be fine.
About two days later I recieve a call from a different man and he is asking me how I liked the magazines. I told him I hadn't recieved any magazines and I had cancelled my order within ten days of the intial call. He said "No, sir, that would be bad business if we let someone order magazines and then want to cancel them a few days later. We wouldn't make any money." i informed them that I hadn't any money to pay them. He told me they had already taken the first payment that day.

I really don't understand this... I signed nothing in writing and have recieved no magazines, and now they hassle me every other day on the phone about not making payments. To top it off they have sent me a letter informing me that I will be sent to a Collections Agency for the amount of $550 by the end of next week.

I think it's time to whip out the old lawyer and see what he has to say about this. I will report back in a week so I tell of the ass kicking I am about to enbark upon.

And I never recieved my Diamond watch for my girlfriend, Bitches.
