Charged me fees i did not authorize

I had a sick cat, and needed some advice. So i looked up very advice on the internet and found this site. I have used advice from online vets before, but they didnt charge me. It was only supposed to be 9.00 so i thought that was a decent price for some simple advice. The next day i check my bank account and find extra charges, 15.00, and 24.00 plus the 9.00 i agreed to.
I contact the company and ask for a refund and get an email back saying they will refund me 12.99. Which has not gotten to my bank yet, and no reason for the extras charges. Hmmm so i contact my bank, and they will be reversing the charges. I am really glad my bank protects me, but if not i would be out 50.00. Yes it is a scam as i found out when i started looking on the internet. Others authorize 10.00 and got charged hundreds, so i guess i am lucky. Oh and by the way, i got advice, they said he might be okay. But i should take him to the vet anyways so they could do some tests. Taking the cat to the vet would have cost me less, and they would have been honest about the charges
