Continual interruptions in service

After going through the most extreme problems to GET service to a new house in the first place (took two months to do THAT and have had problems ever since — see previous report) we have had constant interruptions in service that take DAYS for them to repair. They were supposed to run new cable in our neighborhood. They left a giant spool of cable sitting IN THE ROAD, causing a hazard, for over a month, but never did any work.

Now we have out-dated equipment and we lose service every time the wind blows over half a knot or if more than 3 drops of rain fall... Or if we drive by the pedestal too fast... Or if someone sneezes too loud —you get the idea. We HAVE no other choice for local service and they KNOW this.

The State Corporation Commission has been virtually useless in assisting — they handle the one problem but don't address the overall problem that Sprint does NOT provide the excellent service they brag about — they want to set the standards by which other telecommunications companies are measured.

If THAT's the case we're in trouble, and had better start learning to send smoke signals! The Better Business Bureau has been even MORE useless — suggested that I "attempt to resolve the problem myself" and "give the company two weeks in which to resolve your complaint." Uh huh. This has been an on-going problem since March.

So, my next question is — just what GOOD is the Better Business Bureau?! Sprint must own them as well...
