Gary and Rene Unbelievably disrespectful and harrassing

I had a medical bill my insurance company did not pay. I moved and forgot to give the doctor's office my correct address. They hired this collection agency to collect the money.

The person "Gary" called me and immediately started insulting me and being disrespectful. He kept calling me by my last name and not with Mr.in front of it. I have repeatedly asked him to call me Mr. Brown and he actually said "I won't because I have no respect for losers like you and it pisses you off so I will keep calling you Brown, Brown. How about that?" He heard my wife in the background talking to my son and said "tell the big mouth in the background to shut up so we can talk man to loser boy." He then proceded to tell me how much of a loser, liar and not a man I was.

I called the Dr's office and explained and they ensured me that he would not call again and the company would be taken off the case. I made payment arrangements with them to pay when my tax refund gets deposited. I thought that would be the end of it. Not so!

The next day "Gary" call again and immediately started with insults. I told him I made payment arrangements with the Dr. And he called me a liar and a loser. I asked to speak to Rene (per the Dr. Office instructions) She then insulted me. I asked to speak to a manager and "Robert" got on the phone... It was Gary! Same exact voice! (very distinct) and he told me he just got off the phone with the Dr. Office and they told him to proceed collection efforts, which they did not.

He did this several times a week for the last three weeks.

Finally, today, he called again and told me he will call me every day multiple times a day until I pay the money "you owe me". I conferenced in the Dr. Office and he had the nerve to tell her she wasn't allowed to take him off the case and he would continue to call me every single day until I paid. He then called me a liar, loser and not a man with her on the line. She was astonished to say the least.

Here is a company that has liars working for them (change their names, say the Dr. Office says something they didn't even when conferencing them in) and they have the nerve to call me a liar and a loser.

I don't know what to do about this harrassment but it's eating up my time and effort to stop it.

I have called the police department and they are going to file a report and send it to St. Pete and have them follow up but the refund will be in by then and the Dr. Office paid. My fear is this guy will continue to call even after it's paid. He has told me more than once he wants to make me miserable.
