Do not use. Broke items, showed up a week late, raised initial estimate by over $1000. San diego

This company was absolutely horrible. Worked with them in San Diego, CA, trying to relocate to New England. Sent in information for an initial estimate, which came back at a decent price. When they came to take the furniture and items, they MAKE you buy their wrappings and boxes, and my estimate was raised by $500. I signed a binding contract, and they said they would meet us in New England within ten days. TWENTY DAYS LATER, they showed up late at night, refusing to move our items into our new place without an additional $800. Just so you know, they consider "one staircase" to be seven steps. So if you're staircase is more than seven steps, be prepared for additional costs. After we agreed to give them the additional money just to get our furniture in the house (they were leaving it on the street) they wouldn't accept a Treasurer's Check. Apparently they only accept cash. They were careless bringing our furniture upstairs, breaking and denting our television, armoire, bed, and TV unit. Do not use this company. Horrible service, hidden costs, and unfriendly movers.
