First of all the movers showed up a day early and really
screwed me. The total cost ended up being more than twice their estimate (thousands of dollars more than I anticipated) because they nail you on packing and I think they also fudge the footage. They won't tell you the actual cost until it is all on the truck and it will be a shocker.

They were days late in delivery and were very rude when I called to see where they were. They did not do a good job on stickering the
items and there was no way to accurately reconcile the manifest. I am still missing several items. They scratched and ripped almost every piece of furniture. You also have to pay them the balance with cash or a cashiers check or they will not unload the truck.

They marked EVERY piece of furniture I has as scratched
at pickup so they can deny it was from them later.

Also don't even bother writing fragile on any boxes. I lost almost an entire dish set, most of my glasses and every glass or ceramic item I had because they packed 4 boxes of books on top of my fragile boxes and the stuff was moved around in the truck several times. My boxes showed up all smashed. An entire bookshelf was destroyed. The couch was torn, the TV was nicked, two lamps were broken, it was unbelievable. If you
are stuck with these guys take anything really valuable in the car with you. Anything glass will have a better chance getting where you are going if you mail it.

Overall it cost $2400 more than their initial estimate, two whole days I sat waiting for them to deliver and they did not show up, an unpaid day off of work when they finally did, and I have over $1000 in damages and missing items of which they offered me a $270 settlement.
