You have to be very careful about what you buy from this place. I've bought things from him a more than a few times and maybe half of it has something wrong with it. Buyer beware.

I mainly use the auction site and quite often the descriptions leave out crucial facts which might deter you from buying. You can't always tell from the picture either. Certain pictures are taken with a lower resolution camera and/or from angles which hide whatever may be wrong. I suspect this may be on purpose.

I've run into things like missing pieces or stuff that has been "repaired" with tape, dirt/mold/rust, intermittent malfunctions or part of it not working right. Sometimes the stuff just doesn't work, especially electronic items.

You can get lucky and stuff works right out of the box. Just keep in mind that he sells used merchandise, and there's usually a reason why the owner wanted to get rid of it. He tries to sell everything that comes in, regardless of the condition.

If you've ever been to a pawn shop, then you know what I'm talking about. You can tell when you go in there that he's half expecting you to chew him out over something you bought from him.

He's fairly nice if you don't get loud and in his face. Just don't go in there expecting any exchanges or special favors when something isn't just right.
