C.R. C Magazines
Forced subscription to magazines

Shops, Products, Services

I was directed to this company after recieving a phone call from someone regarding an entry into a sweepstakes. They stated that I would recieve a bunch of magazines free. Then, of course, stated that I'd have to pay these payments.

Throughout the lengthly phone call with this company, the employees were very speedy when reviewing conditions and agreements I was 'obligating' myself to. This caused a lot of confusion.

They claimed I committed myself to these subscriptions and they cannot be cancelled. The only options they give are to lower the payments.

Things change in everyone lives everyday. Especially financially. The terms were not explained properly.

Their 'recording' system they use where we are recorded and asked questions (they consider this committing ourselves to the subscription and from what I heard, claim they can report to a collections agency) to verify what service they provided is not a form of documentation, is it?
